Tanning occurs when the skin produces pigment to protect itself from UV rays and permanent skin damage. In airbrush tanning, the tanning solution is applied by a technician using a compressor and airbrush. These tanning solutions contain the active ingredient DHA that reacts with the outer layer of skin to produce a bronzing effect, similar to what a traditional tan does. It must be emphasized that the pigments resulting from an airbrush tan do not provide UV protection. For most solutions, the color of the skin will continue to darken after the initial application, and the maximum color is reached within about a 12 hour period (exactly what to expect from a particular tanning solution will be specified on the website and/or the solution directions). Typical solutions also have a bronzer that provides an immediate tan effect and helps the technician to distinguish areas of the skin that have solution already applied. The majority of this bronzer will be washed off when showering after application. Our tanning products contain Natural and Organic ingredients and is loaded with intense hydration. T-Shock stands for Thermal Shock which is a simple, all natural, non-invasive concept based on using warm and cold to “shock” the cells. Alternating between hot and cold has a more dramatic effect than hot or cold applied individually. The two components, administered in sequence, according to precise therapeutic protocols, produce a localized and deep thermal shock effect. Times, temperatures and sequences change automatically. The technician selects from a list of pre-programmed protocols which vary by the targeted body part and sex of the person. All of the T Shock procedures are painless. During fat and cellulite reduction treatments there’s a prolonged period of cold so it’s common to experience some numbness in the treated area. Any numbness will quickly subside following completion of the treatment. Some clients will experience a period of “bloating” following the treatment. This is due to the body sending blood in an attempt to warm the treated area. This too will quickly subside. Toning and facial clients experience little if any discomfort. Cold Therapy is commonly used as a procedure to relieve pain symptoms, particularly in inflammatory diseases, injuries and overuse symptoms.
