Botox & Dysport treatment is a revolutionary approach to reversing the effects of facial wrinkles. Crow’s feet worry lines, and laugh lines can all be a thing of the past. These are referred to as dynamic wrinkle lines and all are treatable with this procedure. Cosmetic denervation is the process of injecting Botox or Dysport into the tiny facial muscles that create the wrinkles. You’re a good candidate for Botox or Dysport if you have mild-to-moderate signs of wrinkles and fine lines. Botox or Dysport is only useful in treating expression lines and cannot be used to repair sagging skin caused by aging. Individual results may vary. A typical treatment takes about 10-15 minutes to perform, depending on the areas that are being treated. You should begin to see minimized wrinkles and fine lines about 3 to 7 days after your treatment. Full effect by within 2 weeks. Results can last anywhere from 3 to 4 months but vary per patient. There’s no downtime associated with this procedure so you can continue with your normal routine. You may notice some swelling and redness at the injection site, but this usually disappears within 30 minutes. Bruising is possible and may take a couple of days after the injection to resolve. We do participate in both Alle Rewards for Botox and Aspire Rewards for Dysport.
We carry both Juvederm and Restylane Fillers here in our office. Fillers are an extremely popular way to add fullness and balance to the lips and cheeks and enhance definition. Precisely shape areas like your jawline, lips and nose. As we age, our skin loses its youthful fullness. Fillers help to restore lost fullness and or enhance and accentuate the desired areas. Each filler is created to have different sized molecules for every skin type to provide the optimal volume needed for each patient’s specific needs.
Polydioxanone (PDO) Threads are medical-grade dissolvable sutures that are used to "lift" skin and enhance collagen production. PDO Threads are a minimally invasive office procedure generally lasting about 1 hour. PDO threads come in many lengths and shapes. Molded threads lift and straight threads create a "structure" under the skin. As PDO threads dissolve, collagen is created in the area by your own body's process of breaking down the suture. PDO Threads in our office are provided by Gloria Phillips, RN. Gloria is a Registered Nurse with 29 years of experience licensed in both Nevada and California. Over the years she successfully functioned in multiple areas: Emergency, Rural Health Clinic, Out-Patient Services, and Supervision until she realized an opportunity to combine her multi-faceted nursing skills with her natural eye for aesthetics. She subsequently trained in Scottsdale AZ, in May 2013 specializing in advanced training for PDO threads utilizing a variety of techniques. Gloria is happy to bring these services to the local community utilizing safe practice guidelines, conscientious treatments, and a friendly atmosphere.
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma which uses a concentration of the patient's own platelets to enhance healing. PRP injections are used as a natural way to stimulate cells, decreasing hallowness and dark circles, to create collagen and give you a more youthful appearance without the use of surgery. This procedure is typically done in a series of three treatments 4-6 weeks apart.
Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to eliminate spider veins. Sclerotherapy involves an injection of a solution directly into the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to collapse and stick together and the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. You may need more than one treatment for desired results. You are not eligible if you are pregnant. You can have sclerotherapy and Laser Treatment if you take birth control pills. If you have had a blood clot in the past, your eligibility will be decided on an individual basis, and will depend on the overall health of the area needing treatment as well as the reason for the clot. It is advisable to stop any medications or supplements, not prescribed by your Doctor, 72 hours prior to treatment. Please bring compression stockings to your visit.
